Billing Team

Our Billing Team has extensive experience with ophthalmic coding and billing. To stay current with the ever-changing commercial, state and federally funded insurance plans, each member of our team regularly attends ophthalmology-specific billing and coding courses. Retina Care Center hosts an annual coding conference for the Rogue Valley’s Ophthalmology and Optometry community. One of our Billing Team members is always available to answer your questions either during your visit or by phone.  They also advocate for you by working with available Patient Assistance Programs to help reduce out of pocket costs.

Ophthalmic Technicians and Photographers

The Retina Care Center ophthalmic technicians and photographers are trained in the many aspects of your initial evaluation and the utilization of our state-of-the-art imaging systems which provide our physicians with information critical in diagnosing your ocular problem and refining your treatment plan.

Ophthalmic Scribes

Our Ophthalmic Scribes are trained to assist the doctor during your examination and in-office treatments. They help document your exam findings in our electronic medical record system, provide you with printed educational information, help coordinate your hospital based surgical procedure and facilitate any special needs you may have.

Patient Service Coordinators

Retina Care Center’s Patient Service Coordinators are here to greet you at the front desk and enhance your overall experience with us. Prior to your visit, they will request your medical records from your referring physician, personally call you to remind you of your appointment time, and talk to you about what to expect at your initial appointment. Our dedicated Patient Service Coordinators are here during daily operating hours (including over the noon hour) to answer your calls, coordinate your appointments, and triage your medical questions and concerns.
